11. Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.

22. In large bowl, place pasta and remaining ingredients including Italian dressing, Parmesan cheese, sliced carrots, bell pepper, kidney beans, chickpeas, and diced tomatoes.

3 cups dry whole-wheat pasta (shells, elbows) cooked according to package

2/3 cup Italian dressing (preferred homemade!)

½ cup Shredded Parmesan cheese

1 cup carrots, sliced

1 bell pepper, chopped

15-ounce can red kidney beans, drained, rinsed

15-ounce can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained, rinsed

15-ounce can of diced tomatoes with Italian herbs or stewed tomatoes, drained
